Summer vacation offers little respite for immigrant youth living in homes filled with tension, strife and poverty. JOI replaces weeks of boredom and counter-educational outlets with three constructive and stimulating weeks of summer camp. We send 1000 underprivileged children to camp each year to enjoy sports, games, boating, hiking, arts and crafts, trips and new friends in a nurturing environment.
