Host or help plan a JOI event or fundraiser in your workplace or social circle. From wine tastings to Jewish study sessions, there are many creative ways to combine a fun social and educational experience with a great cause. We will help you create an ideal event concept to bring the JOI mission to life.
*Committees:
Join one of JOI's lay leadership committees:
- Our Events Committee plans enjoyable social evenings and fundraisers such as the annual Vodka & Latke Party.
- Our Communications Committee guides and informs the marketing and communications process, ensuring maximum publicity and brand recognition for JOI.
- Our Fundraising Committee develops and maintains strategic plans to increase JOI’s fundraising efforts.
* Adopt a project:
- Interface with program directors and invest your talents, expertise and energy to make a real difference for a JOI-funded project. Choose from a variety of JOI programs to advise infrastructure and programmatic detail. Develop strong relationships with staff and program recipients as your creative ideas enhance and evolve our vital efforts.
- Invest your dollars and passion in the JOI program of your choice. JOI will work with you to develop the best ways to maximize your investment, publicize your name, or recognize the name of a loved one through an honorarium or memorial. Special projects can be supported by more than one individual as the result of a targeted fundraising campaign.
