IPD – Institute for Personal Development
JOI invested years of study to develop curriculum and train educators to foster self-growth in the Russian-speaking community. The result is the Institute for Personal Development, whose nightly classes strengthen the individual on four fronts: character and personal qualities, family relationship skills, community involvement, and success in

the workplace.
IPD's high-level courses and upbeat, motivational Russian speakers draw enthusiastic audiences in Jerusalem and Petach Tikvah, Israel; Neve Tirtza Prison for Women in Israel; and Kiev, Ukraine. Many participants attest that IPD turns their lives around completely.
Career Training
Career training and job retraining build the self-worth of the individual and spur national productivity and stability.
JOI enables men and women from the Former Soviet Union to learn a profession in Israel in fields such as: architecture, electrical engineering, computer programming, computer repair,

bookkeeping and accounting, education, marriage accounting, education, marriage counseling, and religious art and craftsmanship. In some cases, we subsidize professional training courses. In other cases when suitable courses do not exist, JOI creates and administers its own career-training course.
